AUTUMN

Blazingly colorful autumn leaves usher in fall in Enumclaw’s neighborhoods and high country. Get lost in a corn maze, take a farm tour or visit a local pumpkin patch. It’s a perfect time to take a colorful drive along the Chinook Pass Scenic Byway, an All American Road that starts in Enumclaw.

WINTER

In December, the city hosts its annual Christmas Parade and tree-lighting ceremony. Downtown merchants decorate the area with holiday garland, Christmas trees and lights. Enumclaw offers a warm, friendly atmosphere for shoppers during the busy holiday season. Visitors can enjoy the miles of nearby snowmobile, downhill and cross-country areas. Take advantage of the ski facilities at Crystal Mountain Resort, or try catching the winter run of steelhead trout found in the nearby White, Green, Carbon and Puyallup Rivers.

SPRINGTIME

Springtime provides anglers with opportunities to catch trout in nearby lakes and streams.  Mountain biking, camping, hiking, horseback riding, and backpacking await outdoor enthusiasts. The Mutual of Enumclaw Stage Race, a bicycle race that brings professional and amateur racers from all over the country to Enumclaw, takes place each May.

SUMMER

Summer months include berry patches, the popular Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration, and the King County Fair, the oldest fair West of the Mississippi.  Come to the gathering of clans and visit with people from all over the world at the Scottish Highland Games. This two-day Scottish Festival in July features old Highland Games, wonderful bagpipe music and Scottish food and drink.
